Mitch Petrus dead: New York Giants Super Bowl winner dies from heatstroke age 32
Previous New York Giants hostile lineman Mitch Petrus has passed on of heatstroke at 32 years old.
As temperatures take off to record-breaking levels in the US, the 2012 Super Bowl champ became sick in the wake of working out in the warmth at his folks' shop in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Thursday.
He passed on in medical clinic later that night.

The University of Arkansas - from where Petrus graduated in 2009 - stated: "We are profoundly disheartened by the death of Mitch Petrus. He was an extraordinary contender, fantastic partner and a genuine Hog. He will be incredibly missed by many. Breathe a sigh of relief Mitch."
Petrus played as the Giants beat the New England Patriots 21-17 in the Super Bowl in February 2012.
